Bring your effective communication and interpersonal skills to this role, in which you will work in support of COVID-19 contact tracing. This position will be based in Surrey however, you may initially start at one of two locations: Tricities or Abbotsford.Your specific job duties will include:
Working with a team of health professionals to:
•Speak with COVID-19 infected individuals by telephone to collect information regarding their close contacts during a specified time period. •Communicate daily with cases and contacts, administer a questionnaire for symptoms, provide information regarding testing, and provide instructions for isolation •Inform named contacts by telephone of exposure with someone with positive COVID-19 results. •Communicate negative test results to patients and provide information about basic infection control practices to prevent potential future transmission of the disease. •Maintain individual records and necessary documentation according to the policies and procedures.
You will take a thorough, hands-on approach to deliver high quality and precise work. You will work as part of an integrated team in a very busy and dynamic environment. A focused approach is needed to complete routine day-to-day tasks and handle changing calendars, priorities, and timelines. You will carry a high level of integrity, discretion, and confidentiality.

•Completion of Grade 12 •Six (6) months' of recent, related experience •Ability to type 40 WPM An equivalent combination of education, training and experience is acceptable.
