Job Description & Summary

A career within Technology Strategy services, will provide you with the opportunity to help organisations develop strategies that transform their technology capabilities and solve their most critical challenges. We focus on building technology enabled and agile operating models, planning their new enterprise architecture into a differentiating capability system that helps them win in the market, leveraging digital analytics to enhance the customer experience and optimising business operations, and using modern management techniques such as robotic process automation and next generation sourcing strategies to help our clients get fit for growth.

What you'll create and do

As a Manager, you'll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. PwC Professional skills and responsibilities for this management level include but are not limited to:

Contribute as a team leader by managing diverse teams of motivated and talented individuals, contributing to their development and helping them reach their potential 

Identify and address client needs through critical thinking and problem solving skills 

Leading the delivery of business led technology enabled transformation programs that places the users at the center, using agile design, development and implementation methodologies  

Provide guidance and recommendations on project direction such as setting priority of work packages, resource allocation, and work package scheduling

Prioritize and handle multiple priorities and tasks; including leading and participating in multiple concurrent projects, while also contributing to practice development and business development activities

Act as an expert in your areas of focus (e.g. include, but are not limited to technology strategy, technology governance & operating model, enterprise architecture, cloud transformation, agile delivery)

Help others think critically and share complex technical solutions to non-technical audiences, including to senior executives. 

Coach and collaborate with peers, including providing coaching, feedback and guidance on work performance

Lead practice development activities (e.g. new service offerings, training packages, recruiting initiatives, marketing)

Lead, and contribute to business development activities, including writing proposals and presenting them to clients, and responding to RFPs

What you'll bring to this role

A strong desire for upskilling for a digital world and technology trends, an openness to learning new tools and adapting how you work.

6+ years of relevant experience, either from consulting / professional services or in an industry role

Bachelor's degree in STEM, business, or another technical area. MBA would be an advantage

Experience leading teams to deliver experience focused, technology enabled business solutions, either as part of a large transformation program, or independently for a client. Experience leading cross-functional teams would be an asset

Strong communication, presentation and writing skills. Both to technical audiences and senior executives

In-depth knowledge of the end-to-end value chain of digital applications and infrastructure, including how cloud solution offerings (i.e. SaaS, IaaS and PaaS) can support client transformation needs 

Significant experience in all, or multiple of the following areas: 

Developing digital strategies, including conducting maturity or needs assessments, identifying and prioritizing opportunities / projects, developing roadmaps and estimates, and building consensus with client stakeholders

Advising on, or developing technology and IT operating models, including governance models and processes

Advising on, or developing product roadmaps, blueprints and implementation roadmaps that align technology investments with critical business prioritie

Enterprise architecture, solution design, and the development and implementation technology solutions, including information management, infrastructure and applications

Agile software development and implementation processes and tools

Cloud transformation and cloud solution offerings (e.g. SaaS, IaaS and PaaS)

Scrum Master, Product Owner and other PM and technology related certifications (e.g. PMP, ITIL, TOGAF) would be an asset
