WSP is currently seeking an Asset Management Consultant to join our Advisory Services team. Our team welcomes applicants living in any one of our locations across Canada, with preference in British Columbia and Alberta.

WSP is currently seeking an Asset Management Consultant (Roadway Network Management, Highway Concession Management Speciality) to join our Advisory Services team. Our team welcomes applicants living in any one of our locations across Canada, with preference in British Columbia and Alberta. The successful applicant will be expected to join our team to provide clients with expertise associated with outsourced transportation infrastructure operations and maintenance and public-private partnership models, with emphasis on implementation during the operational phase of projects, to help clients manage their highway or rail networks. You will join a team seeking to serve existing and new clients, provide high-level technical support to the strategic delivery of alternative models to manage infrastructure and help our team at WSP expand the delivery of new Asset Management services into both existing and emerging markets. We seek candidates that can build relationships with clients and internally through business line collaboration. Other duties may include identifying and responding to commercial opportunities, including proposal preparation, assisting with business growth strategies, and delivering specialist consultancy services to a variety of clients.

•10+ years' experience in Roadway Network Management, Highway Concession Management, or Roadway/Highway/Bridge Maintenance Management
•Strong professional experience with alternative delivery models for road or rail networks or infrastructure asset management (preferred).
•Solid professional experience advising government or private organizations (preferred).
•A successful track record in the management of transportation infrastructure, asset management, and business development (preferred).
•Proven leadership skills including inspiring others and pursuing ambitious and challenging goals.
•Ability to work effectively and competently with people at all levels (strategic, tactical and operational) in a client's organization and is a great team member
•Good interpersonal and communication skills, including oral and written communications; particularly the ability to present ideas, information and advice in a way that resonates with a range of audiences.
•Excellent self-management skills, including working effectively without direct supervision, managing and organizing fluctuating workloads in sometimes stressful situations.
•Post-secondary qualifications in Engineering, Economics, Accounting, or another related technical field.
