Your new company
Woodbridge Northwest is a real estate development company based in Vancouver, BC. We are committed to building smart, sustainable multi-residential communities of the highest quality. We create lasting value for homeowners in the U.S. and Canada by designing residences that complement and contribute to the fabric of their communities. Over the past five years we have created over 1500 new homes in communities up and down the West Coast. We pride ourselves on superior customer service, a commitment to integrity and a desire to give back to the places where we work. Considerable time and careful thought goes into every decision we make, from our spacious floor plans to the quality finishes. No detail is too small. We set a high standard for ourselves and our projects, and it shows.
Your new role
As Development Project Manager you will have responsibility for the successful delivery of multifamily residential projects across the Greater Vancouver area. You will produce budgets, provide direction to external consultants and construction managers and ensure a quality product is delivered. The role will be based in the Vancouver head office and will involve regular site visits. You will be empowered to make decisions and will be afforded the opportunity to broaden your skillset professionally to also include aspects of development management. The vision for the role is to have someone that can add value during the design, approvals and construction phases of a project lifecycle. We appreciate you may not currently be an expert in all these aspects but we offer an environment in which your learning and development will be supported.
What you'll need to succeed
The ideal candidate is a team player with a relevant technical education (Engineering, Architecture, Construction) and multi-family residential construction or development management experience. We are looking for a dynamic, detail oriented individual who enjoys a challenging and fast-pace working environment. You must be an excellent communicator who has 5-10 years of experience in multi-family construction. The role would suit a Project Manager/Coordinator that is keen to gain a broader context of the development process or a Development Manager that would gain satisfaction from overseeing a project right through to completion.
What you'll get in return
You will join a nimble and opportunistic management team with a track record of successfully developing projects of which they can be proud. You will be well compensated for your hard work and as your career develops you will be provided the chance to progress into an executive role. If you are suitably qualified and are interested in having a confidential discussion about the opportunity we want to hear from you.
