Your new company
Our client, one of the largest integrated real estate companies in Western Canada, is in search of a Construction Manager. This is an established, expanding organization that will offer you diversified opportunities to support medium to large-scale projects. The business started off developing single family homes over 60 years ago, and since then they have expanded into development of a variety of residential multifamily and commercial real estate. The company is extremely well financed and known for their integrity.
Your new role
As the Construction Manager, you will be responsible for running multifamily residential projects across the Lower Mainland/Fraser Valley. Projects you will be involved with will be primarily wood frame condominium and townhome properties. You will be responsible for budgets, tendering, scheduling trades, project tracking, and contract management. Previous experience in estimating will be viewed favorably. You will split your time between the office in Surrey and visiting your sites across the region.
What you'll need to succeed
You must have 7+ years' construction management experience in the construction industry, specifically with exposure to multi-family residential wood frame projects. This is a collaborative team oriented environment and you will be given guidance and support when needed. The company prides themselves on treating their staff well and acting with candor and a strong moral compass. We are looking for someone that is driven and eager to progress their construction industry career. You are someone that can work well independently as well as in a collaborative environment, is a very strong communicator, and wants to obtain a career with a company you can grow with.
