Computerized Saw Operator - Plastics

Express Employment Professional’s Cloverdale/Langley's client in the Gloucester area of Langley (Aldergrove) is looking for a fulltime Computerized Saw Operator for their Warehouse operation. Having previous CNC experience would be an asset, but is not required as they are willing to train. Good Attitude and reliability is a must

Their Langley, BC facility consists of 15 employees, but is part of a multi-national team of over 400 employees servicing over 25,000 customers across North America in all segments of commercial, industrial and advertising activity.

Job Responsibilities:

• Operating safely a Computerized saw (just straight cuts) but huge it can cut 3” x 14ft x 14ft
• Ability to follow and understand cut patterns 
• Be able to lift 50lbs. (and move/slide 75-100lbs off forklift and onto air table
• Must be able to drive forklift or be able/willing to learn

Successful Candidate:

• Attention to detail
• Good with math! To calculate best way to cut for efficiencies.
• You will be reliable, dependable and can follow directions.
• Want to grow within the company

Shift schedule is Monday thru Friday 8am – 5PM

The position would be an evaluation hire (we run the probation period)

Pay is $25-26 hour plus 4% vacation pay

Good benefit package as well as lucrative profit sharing program in place upon hire.

You must be able to pass a criminal records check.

There is no bus service, reliable transportation is needed.
