We currently have an opportunity for a Community Mental Health Nurse in our Assertive Community Treatment Program located in Delta/Surrey, British Columbia.

This position offers you the opportunity to:
  • Provide treatment and care management services to individuals with mental illness and/or concurrent disorders
  • Work collaboratively and in partnership with the interprofessional care team
  • Provide crisis intervention, individual counselling and education
  • Assist clients to access appropriate services in the community
  • Act as client advocate to protect and promote client’s right to autonomy, respect, privacy, dignity, and access to information

To be the successful candidate, you will have:
  • Graduated from an approved school of Nursing or Psychiatric Nursing
  • Current registration with the College of Registered Nurses of British Columbia (CRNBC) or the College of Registered Psychiatric Nurses of British Columbia (CRPNBC)
  • Recent 2 years’ related experience providing treatment services to individuals with mental health and/or concurrent disorders
  • May require completion of substance use certificate program
  • Valid Class 5 BC Driver's Licence and access to personal vehicle with appropriate insurance coverage
