The Journalism and Communication Studies Department at Kwantlen Polytechnic University invites applications for an NR-1 faculty position for the Spring 2017 semester, January to April. The successful applicant will teach JRNL 3180, Sports Journalism. Candidates should have a reputation as a Metro-area sports journalist, with many contacts to draw on to bring a variety of experience to the class, and teaching experience.


We offer a Bachelor of Journalism with an honours option, including professional-skills courses such as Multimedia Storytelling, Citizen Journalism and Photojournalism, and Communication Studies courses such as Foundations in Communication Studies, Communication Rights and Freedom, and Media Ethics and Law.
