Do you want to be on the front line in the fight against COVID-19? We have the opportunity for you! We have an immediate need for Registered Nurses (RNs) to fill our dedicated team of Communicable Disease Public Health Nurses at Fraser Health.

Build on your career experience by:
    •Handling communicable disease cases and their contacts including the assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating of services to individuals, families, communities and population group •Applying knowledge, skills and abilities specific to communicable disease cases •Coordinating and participating in providing health services and follow up related to case of vaccine and preventable diseases •Applying epidemiological principles and knowledge of disease process to investigate communicable diseases including outbreak management in accordance with established policies and protocols


Your background includes:
    •Current practicing registration with the British Columbia College of Nursing Professionals (BCCNP) •Graduation from an approved school of nursing including public health nursing component •One (1) year's public health nursing experience or related nursing experience providing Communicable Disease services including those related to vaccine preventable diseases, TB, Hepatitis B and C and outbreak management. •Valid BC driver's license and access to a personal vehicle for business related purposes


This is a full-time position based in Surrey, BC and may require travel and/or work at multiple sites in support of the regional health authorities' COVID-19 response.
