We have an outstanding opportunity for a Communicable Disease Exposure Management Nurse (RN) at our Provincial Workplace Health Call Centre located in Surrey, B.C. This is a temporary line to assist with Health Care worker contact tracing and Occupational Health Support during COVID.

Build on your career experience by:
    •Using critical thinking and risk assessment in a contact centre environment •Applying epidemiological principles and knowledge of disease process to investigate communicable diseases including outbreak management •Conducting employee health history assessments and reviews immunity status •Recommending and providing direction on acquiring immunizations against vaccine-preventable communicable diseases •Providing consultation, support, mentoring and clinical expertise to employees on occupational / non-occupational communicable disease
Your background includes:
    •Current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM) •Two (2) years' recent related acute care clinical experience, which includes one (1) years', demonstrated recent nursing experience involving communicable disease management •Completion of, or current enrolment in, an approved IPAC Canada sponsored and endorsed Infection Control course and/or an Occupational Health & Safety program

This is a temporary part-time position located at Central City Tower in Surrey, BC.
