Do you have good bookkeeping and office administration experience combined with a positive approach to your work and an enthusiastic personality? Our client, a property management firm based in Coquitlam, is looking for you to join their friendly, close-knit team.  The offices are located in a Skytrain-friendly location of Coquitlam and they have a nice work environment.

Responsibilities:

  • General office administration including reception and filing
  • Provide assistance to the Property Managers in support of several commercial property portfolios.
  • Accounting/Bookkeeping duties: include A/P and A/R, receiving and tracking rent via EFT, creating invoices, run monthly reports, banking reconciliations, deposits, and bill payments.
  • Monthly and quarterly GST & QST remittances; annual WCB filings
  • Assist in the preparation of year- end financial packages
  • Assist with the preparation of various monthly management reports
  • Assist with the coordination of tenant move-ins and move-outs

 

What You Bring:

 

  • Previous administrative support experience in an office setting
  • Bookkeeping skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Organized, competent, and reliable
  • Proficient with Word and Outlook with intermediate to advanced Excel skills
  • Experience with accounting software
  • Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
