Come and experience an ABA success story
This is an opportunity to join an established Home ABA Team of a 19 year old individual with Autism. This position is for you if you would love to work with Special Needs children, are comfortable with working in a structured environment, want to work in a team setting as well as independently and are excellent at multi-tasking. You will gain experience in behaviour management and you will learn to master the discrete trial method including data collection. No experience is necessary. Training is provided. We are looking for someone who will be available for at least 2 weekdays from 3:15pm-6:15pm. There are regular consultation meetings. You will work one-on-one with the individual teaching him academic, social, communication, life, work and leisure skills. This individual has a great sense of humour, is eager to learn, and is socially motivated.
A car is an asset, but not mandatory; our home is located in the Lynn Valley area of North Vancouver.
