This positions primary responsibility will be the in-depth analysis and definition of risk management, governance, and security for all TELUS Health products. Working closely with the Cloud Architecture teams to ensure adherence to the above defined security, risk, and governance needs. Leading the PIA and SIA processes for the new TELUS Health Cloud Strategy that TELUS Health is working on.Responsibilities:
•Lead operational risk management activities to protect TELUS Health Assets within TELUS Data Centers, external Data Centers, and our Cloud related workQualifications:Required Knowledge:
•Lead governance work for all TELUS Health products, recent acquisitions, and our foray into Cloud (AWS/Azure) Data centers
•Lead all Privacy and Security impact assessments
•Identify risk management goals, objectives, and KPI's that are consistent with corporate strategic objectives
•Oversee security incident response planning for all Cloud related activities
•Work with legal and government agencies to ensure all applicable regulations and standards for security, risk management, and governance are adhered to in regards to Health products
•Manage, develop, and implementation of Telus Health security standards, policies, guidelines, and procedures to ensure ongoing security, data protection, and risk mitigation for all Telus Health products
•Senior experience in managing a security program in a medium to large enterprise Required Skills & Abilities:
•Senior experience with Business Continuity planning, auditing, and risk management
•Experienced in Vulnerability Management and Incident Management
•Experienced in working with Vendors to ensure compliance with security standards
•Experience in Canadian Health Care information services is an asset
•Experience in Canadian law as it pertains to Privacy and Security of Health Records/Data Protection
•Experience in various technology delivery models such as AWS/Azure Cloud Services
•Exceptional documentation skills Required Professional Designation/Certification:
•Must be able to articulate/communicate security related concepts to a broad audience of technical and non-technical employees
•Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university Required Experience:
•CISSP - Certified Information Systems Security Professional
•7 to 10 years of progressive IT Security experience Who is TELUS?
