Job Summary

The FOI & Records Management Coordinator provides recorded information management support and advice to a large, diverse division, ensuring that information assets are managed effectively in accordance with their value and as required by legislation, policy, standards and procedures. Processes non-complex and non-sensitive access to requests to Ministry held records in accordance with FOIPPA and determine if records should be released or withheld, based on review and analysis of requests.

Job Requirements:
  • Secondary school graduation or equivalent, and one (1) or more years of related experience*.


*Related experience must include:
  • Experience applying records management principles, methodologies, operations and procedures.
  • Experience providing information management support to a large public sector organization or equivalent.
  • Experience interpreting and applying legislation.


Preference maybe given to candidates with:
  • Courses related to records management.
  • One (1) or more years' experience developing and delivering information management training.
  • Two (2) or more years of related experience*.
