The Reconciliation Transformation & Strategies Division (RTSD) consists of 3 work units overseen by the Assistant Deputy Minister's Office (ADMO): Indigenous Economic Development Branch (IED), Inter-Governmental Relations & Stakeholder Engagement Branch (IGRSE), and Reconciliation Strategies Branch (RSB).RTSD provides a leadership role across government for the development and implementation of strategic cross-government reconciliation initiatives, such as the Declaration Act on the Rights of Indigenous People, the Commitment Document with the First Nations Leadership Council and, the Draft 10 Principles.

The Division Administrative Coordinator supports the Manager of Divisional Operations in planning and coordinating office administration functions and communications across the Division. These responsibilities include supporting time and leave management; budget and human resource administration; records and correspondence management; event, meeting, and travel coordination/support; facilities and asset management activities; and providing coverage to the Executive Administrative Assistant in the Assistant Deputy Minister's office as required.

Job Requirements:
  • Secondary school graduation or equivalent.
  • Experience providing administrative and financial support services for a group of staff.


Preference may be given to candidates with one or more of the following:
  • Experience working with Indigenous organizations and/or communities.
  • Candidates who self-identify as Indigenous.
  • Experience working with records management system ARCS/ORCS.

Amendment (May 13): Closing date extended until May 19, 2024.
Flexible work options are available; this position may be able to work up to 2 days at home per week subject to an approved telework agreement.
