The Immigration Programs Branch delivers and promotes the BC Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP), an immigration program operating under the Canada-BC Immigration Agreement and in accordance with the Provincial Immigration Programs Act . The Administrative Coordinator provides high quality and timely administrative, financial and coordinating services and support to a team of professionals. Responsible for preparing and managing a wide variety of routine and confidential documents, presentations and spreadsheets, coordinating meetings and travel plans, managing calendars and general administrative functions, the Coordinator must be able to multi-task, prioritize, meet deadlines, and ensure materials are accurately prepared for the Executive Director and senior branch management.

Job Requirements:
In order to be considered for this position, your application must clearly demonstrate how you meet the education and experience as outlined below:

• Secondary school graduation, plus three (3) years progressively responsible secretarial/administrative experience, or an equivalent combination of education, experience and/or training.
• Experience coordinating meetings and making travel arrangements.
• Experience in word processing, spreadsheets, databases, email, Internet and other standard computer applications (i.e. PowerPoint, Sharepoint, etc.) in MS Office Suite.
• Experience preparing a variety of executive correspondence.

Preferences may be given to:

• Preference for one year's experience in a senior management/executive setting.
• Preferred experience using CLIFF correspondence tracking system.
• Preferred experience in ARCS/ORCS records management.
