Job Summary
The Team
The Ministry of Children and Family Development provides services that support healthy, safe environments where children are connected to their families and community. The ministry delivers most of its services locally through contracted agencies as well as through centrally administered provincial programs. Specialized Provincial Services administers the At Home Medical Benefits and Autism Funding and Youth Transitions programs.
The Role
Working within a call centre environment, the Program Support Clerk delivers technical and administrative assistance for the centralized approval and payment of program benefits. They clarify case details with clients and address inquiries from the public and other stakeholders.

About this Position:
This posting is to establish an eligibility list to fill both current and/or future permanent and/or temporary vacancies.
Flexible work options are available, this position may be able to work up to four days at home per week subject to an approved telework agreement.

- Secondary school graduation (Grade 12 graduation) or equivalent (GED).
- Minimum of 6 months of client/customer service experience.
- Minimum 6 months experience with financial transactions.
- Experience utilizing a variety of computer software programs to create, edit and enter information (i.e. MS Office Suite - Word, Excel, Outlook).
Preference may be given to applicants with the following:
- Experience working in an office setting providing administrative services.
- Experience using ICM and/or CAS applications.
- Data entry experience.
