We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Clinical Support Worker in the Mental Health Substance Use Services department at Maple Ridge Treatment Centre.

Build on your education and experience as you:
    •Participate in case planning with clients and counselors and assists in the delivery of the clinical program by performing duties such as providing supportive counseling and guidance to clients working on program assignments, interviewing clients to identify problems and needs, and assisting clients to determine appropriate programs. •Observe clients, identifies and assesses potential emergency situations and develops short-term strategies to deal with such situations. •Report medical, behavioural, and other problems as required. Provides feedback and input regarding clients' needs and progress. •Identify available social, economic, recreational, and educational services and resources in the community that will meet clients' needs. Provides clients with related information. •Completes and maintains related records and documentation such as careplans, progress reports, statistics and daily logs.
To join the organization we require you to have:
    •Grade 12 plus completion of a recognized Substance Abuse Counselling or Social Service Worker certificate •Two years recent related experience working in the addictions field •Valid Standard First Aid - CPR C with automated external defibrillator certificate
