Clinical Practice Leader, Speech Language Pathology

We currently have an exciting regular Full Time opportunity as a Clinical Practice Leader, Speech Language Pathology at Eagle Ridge Hospital in Port Moody, British Columbia.

In this position you will be responsible for leading and coordinating speech language pathology services for the assigned site. We offer plenty of challenges and rewards and an integrated team of professionals to share them with you.

Build on your education and career experience as you:
    •Lead, evaluate and handle the effective distribution of resources ensuring the delivery of quality patient and family centered care. •Provide clinical practice leadership by providing guidance, support, technical advice and acting as a support to staff. •Develop, implement and evaluate orientation and educational programs for staff. •Ensure clinical practice, regulatory, accreditation, and Fraser Health acute care standards are met, communicated, understood, and observed. •Prepare operating and capital budgets, monitor expenditures and provide recommendations for improvements •Develop and maintain workload measurement statistics and other reports as required. •Collaborate with clinical practice leaders across Fraser Health, other peers, and colleagues from other health authorities in order to strive for practice standardization and to support the network of rehabilitation. •Lead the clinical supervision and evaluation of students and coordinates student placement and practicum learning activities.

To join this team you will have:
    •Graduated from an approved Degree in Speech-Language Pathology •Five (5) years recent related experience including a minimum of (1) year supervisory experience •Registration with the College of Speech and Hearing Health Professionals of BC including applicable college certifications.
