Fraser Health has exciting opportunities to work as a casual Clinical Dietitian
within the Fraser Health region. The Fraser Health region includes facilities in Abbotsford, Burnaby, Chilliwack, Coquitlam, Delta, Hope, Langley, Maple Ridge, Mission, New Westminster, Port Moody, Surrey, and White Rock, British Columbia.
Build your education and experience as you:
•Determine appropriate nutrition intervention through physician/health team referral or risk screening for the assigned patient population; assesses the patient/client's current status and determines the goals of medical/nutritional therapy by reviewing charts, interviewing patients or family. •Evaluate the effectiveness of the intervention through patient/client observation, reviewing biochemical parameters and discussion with the patient or interdisciplinary team; makes care plan adjustments as required. •Participate in the continuous improvement of clinical practice guidelines for the department •Participate with the interdisciplinary team in the development of clinical pathways as appropriate; develops nutrition education materials and contributes to other quality initiatives.

•Graduated from a recognized Bachelor of Science degree in Nutrition •Completed a dietetics internship program as approved by the Dietitians of Canada (DOC) •Current membership in the College of Dietitians of British Columbia •Eligible for membership with Dietitians of Canada (DOC) If this sounds like the ideal role for you, here are more reasons why you should apply:
