to our Community Respiratory Services
in Langley, BC. Your specific duties will include:
•Schedule and book home visits and clinic outpatient appointments for the Community Respiratory Service in consultation with the Respirologist and Respiratory Therapist staff. •Perform receptionist duties such as greeting and directing clients, arranging and confirming appointments/meetings, answering the telephone, and routing calls and relaying messages to the appropriate person. •Transcribe, format, and type material such as medical dictation from Respirologist and Respiratory Therapists including client histories, consultations, interpretations, and test results. •Type and maintain material such as correspondence, policies and procedures, manuals, minutes, memos, and reports utilizing word processing, database, and spreadsheet applications. •Set up and maintain filing systems for a variety of program records. •Perform a variety of clerical functions such as ordering supplies, photocopying, and sending and receiving faxed correspondence. Qualifications:
•Graduation from a recognized Medical Office Assistant program •One (1) year of recent related experience •Knowledge of medical terminology •Ability to type 50 WPM Valued Benefits:
