The Boys and Girls Clubs of South Coast BC supports runs and Family Drop in Hub in Ladner, BC. The volunteer early years assistant will support staff, care, help with craft prep and general program needs in pre-school aged children in a social/recreational/early learning setting.

Annually, we serve 12,000 children, youth, and families -- and no one is ever turned away due to an inability to pay.

Volunteers will support health and safety policies. They may be asked to prepare crafts and supervise children while they are creating their craft, read stories, sing songs, keep the play areas tidy to ensure safety, prepare snacks, help parents and children put toys away, and tidy the kitchen area when the children leave.
This position is on:
Tuesday and Wednesdays from 9:00 - 11:45
Wednesdays 12:30 - 3:30
Thursdays from 12:30 - 3:30

You would only be required to come in once per week.


You have some experience with groups of young children in a social/recreational or early-learning setting. You enjoy playing with young children, be engaging, patient and helpful.
