Channel & Outside Software Sales

Our client, a long-established global software company with a leading product line, is looking for a new Sales person to join their team.  This is an Outside Sales role with a significant amount of North American travel time. 

Who you are!                    

You have 3+ years’ experience in Software Sales, including hunting new business and building relationships with channel partners.  A strong communicator and natural rapport builder, you have a track record of success.  You enjoy working within a team and closely with internal sales and technical colleagues.  You have a passion for building relationships with clients.  You have a well-prepared approach to Sales and strong pipeline management skills.  You’re also adept with Microsoft Office and comfortable using CRM tools. 

The Role

Within this Outside Sales role, you will be responsible for prospecting new business and building strong relationships with potential clients and channel partners within in a geographic territory in North America.  You will develop an excellent understanding of your product portfolio in order to identify and develop new opportunities.  You will build and maintain a qualified sales pipeline in order to meet and exceed quarterly quotas.  You’ll be responsible for monthly forecasting of your closable business.  Working effectively with colleagues, you will liaise with a variety of internal technical specialists. 

Where is it based?

Downtown Vancouver, BC – you will spend 50%+ time travelling within your geographical territory in the USA. 

Timeline for this role

Our client is looking for a candidate to start ASAP, once all due diligence is completed.
