Position Overview:

To build relationships with Residential Developers, Home Builders and industry stakeholders in an effort to secure TELUS marketing and technology partnerships.

    •Develop, foster and maintain relationships with multifamily and single family builders across your territory
    •Liaise with TELUS internal partners, including but not limited to Engineering, Planning, CSD, Marketing, Real Estate and Regulatory acting as a conduit to ensure developers requirements of TELUS are met
    •Collaborate with TELUS Marketing and Developer marketing teams to maximize our customer acquisition opportunity with wireline and wireless offers
    •Work closely with TELUS Developer Center of Excellence and 310-4DEV to mine new partnership opportunities
    •Educate Developer Consultants and related Electrical Contractors on wiring requirements necessary for delivery of TELUS Broadband Services to potential home buyers
    •Present new technologies and ideas to partners such as Front Entrance Camera, Wifi and concierge solutions
    •Effectively document and track all stages of developments in
    •Monitor project schedules, technical performance and product penetrations
    •Understand and negotiate complex legal partnership agreements
    •Leverage TELUS value proposition to help secure infrastructure payments from developers
    •Be active in developer related industry associations within your territory
    •Act as a SPOC for your developer partners ensuring TELUS growth as the incumbent L2R leader in the industry
    •Assist in the Sales to Build process designed
    •Facilitate meetings with a cross section of industry players
    •Drive product loading in your portfolio


Required Knowledge:
    •Knowledge of the residential development industry would be an asset

Required Skills & Abilities:
    •A high achieving tech savvy quick learner with an exceptional track record of success in Sales, Relationship Management and Marketing
    •Demonstrated ability to perform financial analysis and business case development
    •Able to sell, convince and gain buy-in
    •Strong presentation skills, sound written communication skills and comfortable with public speaking
    •Proficient at record keeping with knowledge of Salesforce an asset
    •Performance driven with a bias for action
    •Strong interpersonal skills; the ability to develop strong business relationships and the demonstrated capability of working effectively with cross-functional teams is essential
    •Ability to maintain productivity under pressure and changing conditions

Required Professional Designation/Certification:
    •University degree or equivalent experience

Required Experience:
    •3-5 years demonstrated experience in sales, marketing or channels, preferred
