Certified Millwright – Heffley Creek DivisionKamloops, BC
Reporting to the Maintenance department, the Weekend Shift Millwright will work as part of a team. As a valued member of this high-performance team, you will be responsible for safely, efficiently and effectively supporting operations of forest products manufacturing equipment for a Plywood and Veneer facility by ensuring equipment is available and running at rated capacities.Qualifications:
- A proven commitment to safety;
- Journeyman Millwright certification;
- Industrial experience a definite asset;
- Hydraulic system knowledge and strong welding skills are an asset;
- Ability to read blue prints, plans and schematics;
- Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills;
- Commitment to working safely coupled with strong communication & interpersonal skills;
- Ability to work independently with little supervision and as part of a team;
- Organizational and planning skills as well as proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
