We are looking for Casual/Relief community support workers on a permanent basis. Once hired as a casual, you may apply for permanent part time or full time positions as long as you meet the qualifications. All full time and part time CSW positions require you have a class 4 driver’s license and access to a vehicle for work with business class insurance. Some positions may require the class 4 to be unrestricted.

Union membership will be required upon hire (BCGEU).

Casual employees receive $19.31 per hour plus an additional 9.8% in lieu of benefits.

Requirements:

  • Degree or Diploma in Human Services, Social Sciences, Psychology or Education.
  • Experience supporting people with developmental disabilities in community settings.
  • Valid Class 4 driver’s license OR use of a vehicle for work with business class insurance.
  • Must have Valid First Aid and CPR.
  • A criminal record search done upon hiring.
  • You must submit minimum availability of 3 shifts per week.
  • These positions involve assisting clients with personal care.
  • Must be able to swim in chlorinated pools.
  • Experience with Dual Diagnosis is preferred.
