.Build on your education & career experience as you:
•Perform Electro Cardiogram (ECG) testing, stress testing, holter and/or event monitor testing and Ambulatory Blood Pressure (ABP) testing. •Explain procedures and answers patient questions in preparation for testing. •Scan and analyze ECG, stress and holter monitor test strips; select and assess portions of test strips and summarize for interpretation by medical staff. •Enter patient test information as per department prococols, into Meditech to provide Electronic Health Records database for client/patient files. •Maintain appropriate files and reports according to established department procedures/policies. •Demonstrate ECG testing procedures and operation of related equipment to students and new staff. •Provide orientation and training to ECG staff and other hospital staff as directed. •Maintain equipment by cleaning, lubricating and replacing items as required; complete requisitions for repair using established procedures. To join our team, you have:
•Completed a recognized Cardiology Technology Program at the Diploma level plus two (2) years recent related experience; or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience. •Canadian Society of Cardiology Technologists (CSCT) certified.
