Paladin Security is looking to hire full-time security professionals for high profile college and university campuses in the city of Vancouver and throughout the Lower Mainland.
Successful candidates will be eligible for progressive increases based on experience and training.
MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS: • Must be able to travel Vancouver or Burnaby. • One year of experience in a security and/or customer service. • Must be able to pass a security clearance. • Must meet all minimum requirements for a BC security license. • Flexibility and availability to work days, evenings, nights, weekends and holidays. • Must possess a High School Diploma or equivalent. • Ability to detect problems and report information to appropriate personnel. • Have basic knowledge of security procedures, handling violent behaviors, and non-defensive communication. • Physical ability to walk and stand for extended periods of time.
TYPICAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: • Maintains safe and secure environment for customers and employees by patrolling and monitoring premises and personnel • Exercise crowd control and evict trespassers • Defuse potentially volatile situations and intervene when necessary • Providing great customer service to clients, tenants and patrons • Write comprehensive reports and maintain proper records using effective communication skills.
