Elements Casino Victoria is currently looking to fill the role of Operations Manager, Cage to join our Cage team. The successful incumbent will oversee the day-to-day operational activities of the Cage and Count Department. Under the direction of the General Manager, the Operations Manager, Cage will motivate and lead by example, assisting in providing a learning environment for all team members. The Operations Manager, Cage will be responsible for providing input for performance objectives, and implement all new Cage Operation initiatives.         •Provide leadership and direction to Cage and Count operations •Implement strategic plans and operations initiatives as directed •Ensure a positive work environment is maintained and support the team with their career development •Actively lead the recruitment and hiring process for the department •Resolve disputes; report irregularities and suspicious activities; review and prepare CSR Incident Reports •Develop and monitor Cage and Count operations budgets, forecasts and promotions •Review revenue reports, labour cost reports, accounting summary and shift summary reportoperational departments •Actively work three shifts per week alongside the Cage Cashiers and Count Team Attendants •Communicate effectively with all appropriate •Lead cage and count team training •Comply with licensing laws, health and safety and other statutory regulations •Perform other duties as assigned or directed


    •Minimum 2 years of recent experience in a supervisory or management role, preferably in a highly regulated environment •Minimum 2 years of recent experience in high volume cash handling •Post Secondary education in Business/Finance or suitable combination of education and experience is an asset •Experience in the gaming industry an asset •Computer literacy in MS Office •Understanding of yourself and others when communicating with team members and guests •Ability to work a flexible schedule •Professional attitude and appearance, strong interpersonal skills, and a team player •Ability to successfully obtain and maintain a criminal record and credit check through the Gaming Policy and Enforcement Branch (GPEB)
