TELUS is seeking a qualified and seasoned candidate to join the OSS Inventory and Service Fulfillment team, located in Burnaby. As a change agent, you will play a key role in IT vendor management governance process and own a number of change management processes across the platform.

You will:
    •In close collaboration with platform operational stakeholders, facilitate Platform Production Change Review Board to review and approve all production changes based on the stakeholder impacts
    •Work with our business partners, vendors, development teams and release management team to facilitate Platform Release Change Control Board to stabilize software releases before production deployment
    •Define, measure, and analyze the key performance indicators and operational metrics of vendors and provide insights into continuous improvement on vendor operations
    •Manage and improve platform front door process
    •Lead development team to build tools to support governance and process implementation needs
    •Coach and mentor team members on change management and other related SDLC process


Required Knowledge:
    •Expertise in SDLC process especially parallel software development methodologies
    •Understand modern technologies including portal, middleware, database, and integration
    •Working knowledge of operations systems, security devices/applications, compute and network infrastructure
    •Knowledge of inventory and fulfillment products, services and processes
    •Excellent project management skills and strong knowledge of project methodology is desirable
    •Process development and continuous improvement methodologies
    •Communications & presentation fundamentals, ranging from front line to executive level audiences

Required Skills & Abilities:
    •Ability to influence all levels of management including cross functional teams and senior executives
    •Sense of urgency and ability to drive issues to closure despite competing priorities from various stakeholders
    •Strong facilitation and negotiation skills with the ability to deal with resistance
    •Strong business acumen
    •Strong creative, innovative thinking
    •High standards of performance: ability to deal with ambiguity, complex issues and concepts, ability to troubleshoot complex situations

Required Experience:
    •5+ years of software development experience in delivering large scale commercial enterprise software systems
    •5+ years of hands-on experience in a leadership, project management or business analysis role
    •Experience in operational/team leadership, process improvement and change leadership
    •Hands-on experience in program management with focus on process improvement and change management
    •Management consulting experience an asset
