News Flash: on the surface, Business Operations for an enterprise company like ACL
isn't sexy. The GRC industry seems irrelevant to your daily life-you wouldn't touch them as a consumer-so why work here? It'll take a bit to explain, but trust us, it's worth it. Here are a few good reasons...
Young At Heart
We are a 29-year-old company that moves like a startup. It's the best of both worlds. We have huge customers (90% of the Fortune 500), impressive revenues, and are not worrying about our next funding round. At the same time we're creating new SaaS products with the latest and greatest technologies, inventing new things, and doing so rapidly .
We are changing the world for the better
Our team is lucky enough to work with some of the largest brands in the world. And we are helping them to make our world a safer, happier, and more ethical place. Our software has helped a federal agency track down missing children, helped companies avoid vendors that use child labour, and even helped banks find money-laundering patterns that point to terrorists, drug dealers or other criminals. Talk about having an impact!
We Have High Standards
We all set high standards for ourselves, wanting to be the best we can possibly be. This extends to wanting to be the best for our customers and for each other. We all rise up to the challenge to be our best and live up to these standards. We celebrate our successes, and see opportunity in our mistakes. Quite simply, we want the best.
Our Operations team is a multidisciplinary powerhouse of Salesforce experts, enablement and training pros, and controls and risk gurus. We take all of the data pumping through ACL and turn it into clear, accurate, and on-demand insight that drives our business strategies. We are the holders of the Crystal Ball
But that's enough about us. We take hiring seriously at ACL because our team is awesome and we are picky about who we add to it. So, here is what we are looking for:
A SFDC Technical Genius
You've never come across a challenge that you haven't mastered when it comes to your organization's CRM, especially if that CRM was Salesforce.com. Whether you are administering, configuring, or developing for a SFDC implementation, integrating with an ERP like Agresso or a marketing automation system like Marketo, you are always up for finding the best technical solutions possible. Plus, you love to give your recommendations for best practices for streamlining end user and back-office operations.
A Data Geek
Nothing gets you more excited that living it a world of clear and accurate data. You are passionate about ensuring the accuracy of the SFDC database, but when something is amiss, you know how to escalate and resolve the problem before it effects reporting.
You build strong working relationships with your stakeholders and take the time to really understand their requirements. You take part in business process re-engineering to design and propose solutions that meet their needs and maximize productivity. You maintain accurate documentation of processes, policies, application configurations, and modifications to ensure continuity for the business and your users.
A Leader of People and Projects
You've managed a team before, but even if you haven't, you've always lent your hand to coaching, mentoring, training, and leading in the areas in which you excel. You know how to use your management skills - people and project - to ensure project deadlines are met, needs are fulfilled, and the people you work with become SFCD experts. You use your technical and analytical skills, paired with your understanding of the business, to tackle complex projects and exceed all expectations. You work easily with ad-hoc, cross-functional teams using your interpersonal skills and ability to influence beyond your immediate team. Your excellent communication skills allow you to share your ideas and projects with clarity and force to diverse groups including sales, IT, finance, executive leadership, as well as our channel partners and customers.
Here are some of the qualifications we think the ideal person will have:
- 3-5 years relevant CRM experience, with a minimum of 2+ years hands on experience with Salesforce.com.
- com certification, preferably administration, implementation, and developer training.
- Familiarity with Salesforce.com integrations with ERP / financial systems (we use Agresso), and marketing automation systems (we use Marketo) is an advantage.
- Full cycle people management experience would be considered a big asset
- Proven ability to tackle complex projects, operating in ad-hoc cross functional teams
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including the proven ability to influence beyond immediate work team to the entire organization and beyond.
