Join our finance team in a Permanent Full-Time Business Finance Analyst
role with Fraser Health.
You will bring your well-honed skills to the Finance Department by interpreting, implementing and communicating business strategies within the organization. We are looking for:
•Strong analytic skills and data management skills combined with a high level of attention to detail and a demonstrated ability/desire to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Be able to prioritize, problem solve and provide systems analysis in the establishment of business systems scope, objectives for the new systems, maintenance and growth of our applications, and development of new reports while addressing business needs as they arise.
•Dynamic and engaging individual with proven skills, knowledge and experience in developing and delivering technical and non-technical training content in order to design, develop, customize, deploy, and effectively support in person and online training of financial and business reporting requirements of Fraser Health Authority managers and executives. •Excellent communicator who is passionate about developing people's skills and whose skills include clear and concise written communication, clear articulation and explanation of concepts and who is an engaging and comfortable presenter. •Motivated self starter with advanced organizational and interpersonal skills who can work unsupervised and in a team setting and has demonstrated the ability to build collaborative relationships throughout an organization, combined with a strong people focused orientation, proven project management and leadership skills. •Demonstrated knowledge of adult learning concepts, technology, and techniques in order to prepare training content including development of documentation, video training content and coordinate course scheduling. •Thorough knowledge of course development and design, including needs analysis, objective setting and assessment processes with experience in learning management systems, and eLearning software and systems used to develop learning materials.
You will be working on an agile team, and is expected to contribute to our team's innovative culture, build relationships within Fraser Health and its partners, and bring a willingness to learn with each conversation.
Your qualifications will include a recognized professional accounting designation such as a CGA, CMA, CA or CPA and completion of an undergraduate degree in Business, Information Systems or Computer Science , supplemented with five (5) years' recent related experience with business and systems analysis in a large complex organization, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
It is crucial in this role to have the ability to exercise thought leadership in the portfolios individuals are assigned and understand the needs of our partners and stakeholders while communicating the vision and challenges to all levels of the leadership team. The successful candidate will be equally comfortable in a detailed meeting with subject matter experts regarding functionality and then summarizing the work with senior management in terms of its impact and value.
This is a Regular Full-Time
position based at Surrey, BC
