• Ensure investment credibility and the ability to address risks and opportunities by enabling intelligent synthesis of information through the aggregation of data across TELUS into a usable format.
•Support the Broadband Team; Building and executing your vision to transition from static PowerPoint reporting to dynamic web and mobile reporting to enable our business; delivering value for TELUS' customers, business, team and communities. Key Accountabilities:
•Simplify reporting processes: Aggregate and reformat data from across TELUS into usable data where inputs are disparate, manual or undefined. Own solution implementation, cross-functional execution and outcomes.
•Accelerate reporting processes: Collaborate and Influence across BI teams to streamline and automate the exchange of data. Make recommendations to improve processes both upstream and downstream. Engage stakeholders; build sustainable processes to manage tools, ensure data integrity and user adoption.
•Web and Mobile enable information: Leverage web-enabled applications for executive, management and program office team members to access program information anytime anywhere; for ad hoc reporting and regular reporting activities. Build roadmap and execute the transition from static PowerPoint reporting to dynamic web and mobile reporting.
•Support the Program Enablement team: Provide off-loading capacity within the reporting team for ad hoc requests as required; including various lists for the Enablement Team's programs. Qualifications:What YOU Bring:
•You bring insatiable curiosity, relentless drive, and limitless optimism
•You have strong knowledge of business analytics and process methodology yet you are humble and have fun operating at both a strategic and tactical level
•You have Design and Programming Experience
•You are comfortable with tools required to reformat data into usable formats. This will be ongoing as new information becomes relevant in line with program evolution
•You have experience with Web Enabled Reporting Applications. Proven ability to put data into web and graphical interfaces
•You understand what is required to enable mobile reporting within the immediate current environment and as reporting capability evolves
•You have experience in scrubbing data and data forensics. Experience intuitively identifying errors in data and working across the team to ensure clean and consistent data
•You have experience pulling lists and data from various people or system sources
•Strong collaboration and influence. You enjoy work with reporting and data teams across the organization to understand pain points and simplify processes
•You are tenacious: You work within a mix of tools, systems, processes and BI cultures to influence change and data management best practises
•You are an experienced Self Starter. You are able to navigate the organization and build technical solutions or tools or processes independently with little technical coaching, oversight or immediate team support
•Ability to prioritize and work under pressure in fast-paced ever-changing environment
•You take ownership of rapidly researching solutions and identifying options
•You share options and make recommendations
•You commit to timeline and deliver against it
•Demonstrated ownership for solving a problem vs. building tools; influencing usage, adoption and continuous improvement
•You have experience working in a fast-paced, continually changing environment
•You have a Customer First passion
•You have completed a Post-secondary degree
