You will have the opportunity to provide leadership and be responsible for developing, monitoring, analyzing and assessing the performance for key business initiatives within Facilities Management (FM) at Fraser Health (FH). As the Business Analyst, you will support the FM Senior Leadership Team in developing strategic business cases, planning and developing reporting requirements, meeting key clinical, financial, human resource and operational objectives, and develop data to monitor initiatives and projects outcomes against defined plans by maintaining key performance indicators. This role will be working closely with the Real Estate, Leasing and Property Management team of FM to provide the group with information and evaluating asset performance to ensure economic efficiency, asset optimization and risk minimization.

Build on your education and career experience as you:
    •Manage and audit the department database; ensure lease, contract, invoice and contact information is entered and tracked. •Assist in the development of annual budgets, provide analysis of financial status of each lease within the portfolio, including financial and statistical performance analysis for the portfolio by preparing and submitting forecasts, accruals and looking at past performance and identifying potential problem areas. •Manage Property Taxes and Assessments by reviewing and processing documentation; request and process exemptions; conducting appeals. •Provide business analysis by conducting workflow analysis. •Identify and analyze new project initiatives. •Develop, review and analyze business information requirements and models by defining the business scope and objectives including the planning, designing, or modifying of practical manuals and automated business procedures. •Develop and maintain monthly and quarterly status reports regarding the implementation of financial plans and budgets for each portfolio •Conduct and prepare business cases and analysis on key strategic business initiatives by compiling information, compiling and analyzing the data and reporting on findings. •Prepare briefing paper, operational review and strategic business cases including capital, operating and start-up costs and projected revenues.

Here is what we would like you to have:
    •Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance, Industrial Engineering, Health or Business Administration. •Five (5) years' recent, related experience in decision support, business analysis and/or health care management in a large complex organization •Background in Commercial Real Estate and/or facilities management knowledge and experience is an asset. • An equivalent combination of education, training and experience is acceptable

We are looking for a hardworking individual who has the ability to work effectively in teams, to balance multiple simultaneous tasks, work well in unstructured initiatives, and develop guidelines for operational planning, performance management, coordination of new initiatives, process redesign and information management to meet FH's strategic and operational objectives.

This regular full time position will be based at our Central City offices in Surrey, BC.
