Within the Customer Network Implementation (CNI) team, the Drop Control Centre of Excellence (DCCoE) ensures that "drops" (the last leg of our network) are placed to a customer's premise in a timely manner, which then enables us to then provide TELUS services to the customer. We coordinate the job workflow (dispatch/write-off), manage vendor performance and manage our capital budget.

    •Utilize your data expertise to maintain processes, update dashboards and identify new reporting opportunities •Your analytical abilities will help you create stories that illustrate the results of our program and the opportunities ahead of us •A broad stakeholder group will rely on your reporting to develop actionable insights focused on improving business performance •You will take ownership of projects from concept to execution; connecting with internal stakeholders to clarify requirements, make decisions based on analyzing data, develop solutions and implement changes end-to-end •You will lead and facilitate meetings and working sessions with cross-functional stakeholders in order to achieve desired outcomes •Maintain a strong understanding of TELUS applications, products and services, organizational delivery capabilities, and TELUS end-to-end processes •Maintain awareness of industry trends and technology available that would, if implemented, result in operational or efficiency improvements to current processes •Leverage TELUS' applications to develop solutions that meet or exceed business requirements

    •Develop new/upgrade existing reporting and analytics to drive program success •Monitor/maintain our critical data flows that power our reporting and operational processes, as well as build new ones as required •Deep dive to find opportunities for changes and engage key stakeholders to collaborate on resolutions •Resourcefulness to identify opportunities and drive change with a sense of urgency •Ability to translate data to analysis to insight to recommendations, with executive style presentations and reports to manage expectations, power critical decisions and drive the success of our portfolio •Balance the demands of multiple concurrent projects


Qualifications:

You're the missing piece of the puzzle
    •University degree and/or 1-3 years equivalent combination of experience and education •Advanced data analysis and visualization skills using Business Intelligence tools; Microsoft (MS) Excel and tools like Tableau, MS Power BI or Domo •Experience with extraction and transformation of data with tools like Informatica and languages like SQL •Proficient with Microsoft Office software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and G-suite apps (Docs, Sheets, Slides) •Outstanding analytical and quantitative skills with strong story telling ability •Excellent interpersonal communication skills, ability to work with various levels of management as well as work within multi-functional teams •Ability to understand and integrate all internal and external drivers (i.e.: Finance, Economics, Operations, etc.) that impact problem solving and decision making •Proven self-starter that is positive, a quick learner, self-directed, and able to work with minimal guidance
