A Vancouver based Property Management Company which owns and manages their 39 commercial properties.  With properties from Kitsilano to Abbotsford, this small company has been around for almost 20 years and offers great stability and flexibility.  With long tenured staff, this well-established company treats their employees like family.


Reporting into the Owner, the Bookkeeper will be responsible for a variety of monthly, quarterly, and yearly accounting tasks.  With 39 commercial properties, 18 holding companies, and 50 bank accounts, the Bookkeeper will need to be a strong multi-tasker.

The key accountabilities for the role are:

  • Payroll, T4’s
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Prepare Government tax installations for various companies/Owners
  • Prepare month-end income statements
  • CAM reconciliations
  • GST statements
  • Prepare year-end working papers
  • Ad-hoc tasks as required


The ideal candidate is easy going and friendly, with the ability to work well in a team as well as independently.  The successful candidate will be someone who takes initiative and is a self-starter.

The following are considered requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years’ Bookkeeping experience
  • Proficient in Excel

The following are considered assets:

  • Property Management industry experience
  • Experience using Spectra software
  • Accounting diploma


  • $50,000 per annum
  • 3 weeks’ vacation
  • Great work/life balance and flexibility on hours
