Specialized, small law firm located in downtown has a contract opening for an Office Manager to cover a maternity leave. The ideal start date is October 24, with contract running through the end of January 2018.
Duties will include:
Preparing invoices and supervising billing
Overseeing accounts receivable and preparing bank deposits
Accounts payable, including to foreign associates
General office management support for firm president
Working with legal and accounting software
At least one year experience with billing and bookkeeping
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Able to work independently and closely with others in a fast-paced environment
Good organization skills
Able to learn quickly
Previous office management experience an asset
Knowledge of Law Society of British Columbia rules an asset
Salary open. Extended health benefits, including dental and long-term disability, are available after three months.
