As a key member of the Public Health Observatory team, you will provide statistical consultation across the Population and Public Health department. In this Biostatistician role, you will:
- Provide expertise and leadership in data collection, data analysis and interpretation for a variety of routine and ad hoc surveillance activities
- Work collaboratively within a team of epidemiologists and other analysts to provide the relevant expertise required for health assessment, disease surveillance, and program evaluation and planning.
- You will be a key member of a provincial team and work collaboratively with other Biostatisticians and public health leaders.
As the successful candidate you have a Master's degree in statistics/biostatistics and two years of recent, related experience. You bring a strong background in large data base analysis and are fluent in statistical packages such as SAS and/or R.
This Temporary Full-Time position is based at our Central City offices in Surrey, B.C.
