Bilingual Manager, Client Services (Mandarin and English) – Finance Industry

A leading global electronic brokerage group that provides its customers with direct, high-speed access to trade markets around the world is seeking professional, Bilingual Manager, Client Services (Mandarin and English) to join their growing team.

Who you are!

Must have 3-5 years experience of management experience in the Finance Industry, preferably in the brokerage capacity. Product knowledge in a broad range of financial instruments, including stocks, bonds, options futures and forexis required.  Other key skills include the ability to expand local client base ensure competent and courteous client Service support, employ sound judgement and decision making and identify opportunities to apply technology to scale and enhance support services.

Downtown Vancouver

The Role

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Responsible for hands-on management of the local Vancouver office and coordinating with other branch offices to provide exemplary client service including prospecting.
  • Trade Support
  • Fielding inquiries relating to software usage, margin, risk, products offerings, commissions and fees
  • Assistance with Position transfer and other account funding matters
  • Assistance with completing the account application

 

Qualifications and competencies:

  • 3-5 years experience in either trading or brokerage services
  • Mandarin and English communication skills (both speaking and writing) a must
  • Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business administration or related field
  • Canadian Securities course and Conduct and Practices Handbook required within 6 months or must obtain within 6 months of employment
  • Business Acumen: Derivatives Fundamentals and Option Licensing, Futures Licensing course, Series 7
  • Strong Technical skills in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Excellent quantitative /analytical skills
