The Population and Public Health (PPH) Division is committed to enhancing the health and well-being of British Columbians by promoting health, preventing disease and injury, and protecting against harm. We are seeking an experienced and visionary Provincial Dietitian/Director of Nutrition and Physical Activity. This role involves leading major long-term strategic initiatives and directing short-term priority actions to improve public health. The position also provides expert advice on nutrition to inform provincial policies and programs, ensuring the Province remains a credible source of nutrition information. Job Requirements:
  • Registrant of the College of Dietitians of BC.
  • Three (3) or more years of experience in a supervisory/management position.
  • Three (3) or more years of experience in public health or community dietetics.
  • Experience in contract and project management.
  • Experience in policy development and analysis.
  • Experience in program development and evaluation.
  • Experience in intergovernmental/intersectoral relations.
