The LDB is one of two branches of government responsible for the cannabis and liquor industry of B.C. We operate the wholesale distribution of beverage alcohol and non-medical cannabis within the province, as well as the household retail brands of BC Liquor Stores and BC Cannabis Stores.

In Human Resources (HR), we support a large, distributed organization with a range of services from our Talent & Compensation, Organizational Development & Change, Employee Relations and Investigations, and Occupational Health and Safety teams. The Organizational Development and Change Advisor partners with key business leaders to design and implement organizational effectiveness and leadership development initiatives to help achieve business strategy including but not limited to organizational change management, organizational development, succession planning, assessments, employee engagement, performance management, leadership development, competency modelling, workforce planning and team effectiveness.
This position provides a high degree of consulting to prioritize organization, team, and individual development needs to support the achievement of LDBâs strategy. The Organizational Development and Change Advisor works with stakeholders to determine mutually agreed upon needs, solutions, roles & responsibilities, outcomes, and metrics of success and executes comprehensive organizational change management strategies and plans across the business.
This position may include some overnight travel requirements within the Province of British Columbia.

•Degree (preferred) or Diploma related to Communications, Business Administration, Human Resources or equivalent discipline. Applicants with an unrelated Degree or Diploma from a recognized post-secondary institution will be considered if they have related certifications or are actively pursuing related continuous education). •Applicants must have achieved a minimum of 3 (three) years of recent extensive related experience*. Applicants with 5 (five) years of recent experience* are preferred.
Related and relevant experience* includes:
•Leading large scale change initiatives as an organizational change management practitioner. •Planning, developing, executing and monitoring organization effectiveness and organizational change management expertise across all aspects of change initiatives/programs, including: organizational change management strategies and plans, readiness assessments, stakeholder management, leadership alignment, business process alignment, communication plans, risk assessment, training and evaluation. •Developing and delivering organizational design initiatives and programs that drive a high performing culture, preferred. •Applicants with related experience in retail or wholesale, preferred. •Experience working in transformation initiatives is preferred.Â
