Our Project Manager will work with clients to design, scope, and build audio visual systems. Though based from our Vancouver office, travel throughout the Lower Mainland to visit client sites will be required.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversee all data communications infrastructure projects to ensure the highest quality is delivered to our clients
  • Provide detailed and accurate reports of project’s progress and financials
  • Conduct monthly project billing, reconciliation of projects and ongoing invoicing
  • Develop and manage schedules, resource plans, procurement, commissions, and risk mitigations
  • Manage the project team and technical staff to ensure project is within scope, budget and schedule, and ensure milestones are met
  • Proactively assess risks and develop plans to align with safety regulations; ensure a safe and healthy work environment, and participate in safety committee meetings
  • Maintain client satisfaction and promptly resolve any concerns
  • Develop relationships with subcontractors to build a pool of resources; manage selection of subcontracts for projects, where required

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Project Manager in the construction industry, preferrably with audio visual systems
  • Post-secondary education from an engineering technology program (controls and instrumentation, electronics, electrical, or equivalent)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, as well as interpersonal skills
  • Strong computer skills, with proficiency in Mac OS, Microsoft Office, Sedona, and project software
  • Able to work independently, manage time effectively, and work with multiple deadlines
  • Valid Driver’s License with clean abstract
  • Project Management Certification (PMP or PMI) would be considered an asset
