Autonomous Systems Technician Program Instructor
Regular, Full-time - June 1, 2020
Duties: Responsibilities for this full time instructor position involve preparing and delivering courses in the Autonomous Systems Technician program. The areas of instruction will focus on electronics foundations and networking and also includes radio frequency systems. The subject matter delivered includes both theory and practical skills. As an instructor in this program, you will be required to develop and revise program content and learning materials in the Autonomous Systems Technician curriculum and deliver the program in a way that meets the needs of your students, ensuring that your classroom and lab instruction is relevant and current.
Qualifications: A diploma or degree in Wireless Communications or Telecommunications or a related discipline is required as well as a minimum 5 years of recent work experience as a telecommunications specialist and recent experience with Internet Protocol based network configuration and programming. A teaching credential and experience instructing adults is preferred. Network certification such as CCNA and proficiency using hand tools as required for the telecommunications industry are highly desirable as are current computer literacy and effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Salary: As per the Faculty Salary Schedule and depending on qualifications, instructional and related work experience, the salary for regular/term, full-time/auxiliary employees is in a range from $58,044 - $93,269 per year.
