Position: Auditing Department Manager

Location: Peter Pang & Associates at 1788 W Broadway, Vancouver, BC V6J 1Y1

Reports directly to: General Manager




The Auditing Department Manager will be required to apply Peter Pang & Associates’ audit and accounting practices and methodologies on client’s engagements and have the ability to manage the relationship with the clients, practice leaders, and junior staff. Individuals must be able to work under pressure to handle the day to day deadlines with a sense of urgency and attention to detail. You need to be driven and serious about making our company grow. This job is suited for anyone who has a flexible open schedule and is available to work long hours at overtime rate when needed.


Responsibilities and Accountability


  • Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate the operation of an audit department.
  • Development and implementation of organizational strategies, policies and practices.
  • Ensure the audit department team achieves their goals and targets.
  • Conduct risk assessments and identifies controls in place to mitigate identified risks.
  • Identify control gaps and opportunities for improvements.
  • Document the results of audit work in accordance with audit department.
  • Supervision and management of services provides to the client.
  • Produce reports highlighting issues and providing potential solutions.
  • Prepare timely reports for executive management.
  • Delegating effectively and training team members.
  • Planning and allocating resources and individuals in accordance with skills and schedules.
  • Ensure compliance with internal and external requirements.




Minimum of 3-5 years of work experiences related to auditing in a public accounting firm is required.

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, economics, commerce or a related field is required.

Master’s degree in business administration, economics, commerce or a related field is highly desirable.

Professionalism, dependability, integrity and trustworthiness combined with a cooperative attitude.

Advanced office and graphic software skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Strong management, organizational skills and attention to detail.


Wage: $41/Hour, 30 hours per week, $61.5/Hour after 40 hours of work per week.
