Our Client

Our Client is one of Canada's well-known suppliers of truck equipment. They are a busy branch situated in Delta and are looking for a Forklift Driver/Assistant Shipper & Receiver who is enthusiastic and prioritizes safety to join their team on a 2 week temporary basis with the chance of being extended. Responsibilities

- Complete timely pick-up and delivery of components, materials, and tools with correct communication back to the warehouse
- Liaising with vendors regarding the pick-up and delivery of parts as required
- Collecting material and putting it into applicable location as directed by the service-production managers
- Maintaining the inventory, the general shop, and equipment in a clean and safe manner
- Using hand tools and ladders to ensure work is complete
- Regular communication with mechanics/technicians, shop personnel, and managers
- Ad-hoc duties as required


Qualifications

- 1-2 years of experience using a forklift
- Sit-down counterbalance is required
- Warehouse experience is preferred
- Steel toe cap boots are necessary
- Hard-working and reliable
