The Art Therapy program at Yaletown House assists our community members to achieve optimal health and quality of life. Volunteers play an essential role in allowing us to facilitate safe, person centered, therapeutic programs. Volunteers are needed to assist the Art Therapist to prepare, facilitate and clean up programs on:
Fridays, 9 - 10 amDeliverables/Duties:
Work under the direction of the Art Therapist to provide support to the senior YTH community members as they participate in an art program.Qualifications:
The ability to follow instructions, intuitive, good problem solving skills.Ability to work with people who have compromised memory and communication. A desire to help seniors in care. A good understanding of confidentiality and its importance.Volunteer skills:

Group Leader, Host, Facilitator Role is suitable for:
Experience volunteering in a complex-health residential care facility.
Reference letter after three months of continuous service.
