The Ministry of Forests is responsible for the stewardship of provincial Crown land and ensures the sustainable management of forest resources. The Ministry works with Indigenous and rural communities to strengthen and diversify their economies

The Authorizations Administrator is responsible for administering an assigned portfolio of authorization agreements, providing advice, conducting detailed analyses, making recommendations on approvals and determining related fees.

Job Requirements:
In order to be considered for this position, your application must clearly demonstrate how you meet the education and experience as outlined below:

  • Completion of post-secondary courses in a related field such as legal assistant, public administration or business administration or equivalent.
  • 1 year or more experience advising and explaining policies and legislation.
  • 1 year or more experience reading and understanding legal documents/plans and resource maps.
  • 1 year experience working in a customer service delivery program and dealing with a diverse range of clients and stakeholders.
  • Experience with real property contract and/or administrative law.

Preference may be given to candidates with one or more of the following:
  • A diploma or degree in a related field such as legal assistant, public administration or business administration or equivalent.
  • Completed courses in business law, real estate law, contract law or appraisals.
  • 2 or more years' experience advising and explaining policies and legislation.
  • 2 or more years' experience reading and understanding legal documents/plans and resource maps.
  • 2 or more years' experience working in a customer service delivery program and dealing with a diverse range of clients and stakeholders.
