Since 1971, Burnaby Family Life has been offering programs and services to individuals and families in Burnaby. Over the past four decades, we've grown, we've expanded and we've helped thousands upon thousands of people to live a better life in a better community. Programs provided in counseling, parenting, pregnancy, English language skills, childhood literacy, childcare and life skills classes for people without a home.
Our After school program is Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 3pm-5:45pm Wednesday is from 2pm-5:45pmDeliverables/Duties:
Assists staff in planning, implementing appropriate activities for the after school program . Using teaching techniques, such as modeling, observing, reinforcing when working with preschoolers.Qualifications:
Experience working with children 5-12 as an asset
Good oral and interpersonal communication skills.
Reliable and committed.
Suitable for youth worker, social service students, or high school volunteer experience
Hours: Mon, Tue, or Fri 3pm to 5:45pm, days flexible Volunteer skills:
Teaching, Instructing, Tutoring, Facilitating

Recreation and Sports Role is suitable for:
English as a second language (ESL)Additional Information:
