Position Highlights

The Advisor, Adult Guardianship Compliance possesses strong skills to guide and support Fraser Health's (FH) clinical practice compliance with British Columbia's adult guardianship legislation.

Your responsibilities will include:
    •Provide first tier response to FH staff and physicians regarding adult guardianship clinical practice obligations. •Guide FH in meeting the complex care needs of vulnerable and incapable adults in the FH region. •In collaboration with the Clinical Specialist, Adult Abuse & Neglect, the Advisor will identify and meet the evolving needs of FH learners in the development of education and materials delivered online, virtually, and in person. •Assist the Clinical Specialist, Adult Abuse & Neglect to prepare and participate in court hearings with legal counsel.

Your qualifications include:
    •Master's degree in Social Work •Five (5) years of recent related clinical experience working with BC's adult guardianship legislation or similar legislation, or an equivalent combination of training and experience. •Current practicing registration with applicable regulatory body and/or membership in applicable professional association, as applicable. •Valid BC Driver's license and access to a personal vehicle for business-related purposes.
