Employment Status Instructor - Auxiliary
Responsibilities Independently instruct aquatic leadership courses such as Swim Instructor, National Lifeguard, and any related re-certification clinics.
You will be teaching youth and adults in various City facilities and be:
• Sharing your knowledge and passion about water safety. • Providing an engaging and active learning environment for your students. • Providing great customer service to all patrons in our city facilities. • Inspiring others to become lifeguards.
Qualifications Successful candidates must possess excellent leadership and organizational skills. They must be able to work evenings and weekends and teach classes in a variety of City of Surrey facilities.
Candidates must hold at least one of the following awards and must be current at the time of hire.
• Lifesaving Society Swim Instructor Trainer. • Lifesaving Society National Lifeguard Instructor. • Standard First Aid with CPR-C & AED
Other Information Hourly Rate: $28.50
Conditions of Employment This position requires completion of a Police Information Check with Vulnerable Sector Check
